Yesterland A Video Trip Back to 2001
Filmed and Edited by Ian Parkinson
Main Street Cinema, Disneyland

Set the Wayback Machine to April 2001. Today’s destination is the original Happiest Place on Earth and its brand new neighbor.

I hope you enjoy these two new videos.

Werner Weiss, Curator of Yesterland, June 17, 2011

Much of what you’ll see in the video of Disney’s California Adventure is no longer part of the park. It really is a Yester California Adventure video. There’s even a Chance to Shine performance.

The changes to the original Disneyland Park since 2001 have been more subtle. But if you look closely, you’ll spot many, including the brown Tomorrowland, the old monorails, the unused submarine lagoon, the pastel “it’s a small world” façade, and the overgrown former Burning Settler’s Cabin.
