Privacy of individual users

Yesterland does not require registration. Also, Yesterland does not sell products or services. So Yesterland does not ask you to provide your name, email address, credit card, on any other personal information. Your use of Yesterland does not identify you individually.

Yesterland uses third-party companies to collect and report statistics about site use, but these statistics do not identify individual users, except to the extent that you may have provided this information to those companies.

Yesterland uses Quantcast, a third-party web use tracking service operated by Quantcast Corporation, to measure traffic and demographics. Yesterland is a “Quantified” website. When you visit Yesterland, Quantcast servers automatically record and collect data sent by your browser, including your computer’s IP address and the referring HTTP location. Server logs

The web server for Yesterland is hosted by pair Networks, Inc. As is the usual case on web servers, each web transaction (request for HTML code and images) is recorded in a daily log file. This log file includes information such as your IP address, browser type, and operating system. The log does not include your name, address, email address, or telephone number. The log is used as input to produce reports of website statistics.

Yesterland Discussion Forum (MiceChat)

Yesterland includes links to the Yesterland Discussion Forum provided by MiceChat, a third-party discussion forum site operated by MiceChat, LLC. If you use the Yesterland Discussion Forum, you are subject to the privacy policy of MiceChat. In order to post to the MiceChat forums, you are required to register with MiceChat; the registration data is not shared with Yesterland.
